Here's an updated picture of the Noro Kureyon blanket. 12 squares completed. I lost track of which is which!!! Wouldn't you know. I have a "no spending" order from the lovely DH right now, so the blanket's gonna languish for a little while. I've also exhausted swapping possibilities on Ravelry, so no cheap Kureyon for me for a while. It'll give me a chance to sew in some ends - yuk!
Small gripe about Ravelry. It always cuts off important bits of my pictures. Like 3 of my 12 squares above. But blogger doesn't do it, so why should ravelry? Bah!
No spending doesn't mean no new yarn though. Guess what?! I won the Blue Moon Fiber Arts blog contest. Well, I was one of ten winners anyway. 6 of my 10 guesses were correct. So I have a Rare Gem to expect from them . Eek, I'm so excited, I never win anything!
Actually, that's not exactly true. I won two tea-light candles at a "PartyLite" gig last night.

your squares look fantastic - Noro has such great colours!
I love how each one is just a little bit different!
The squares look wonderful!
Does it still cut them off when you open the picture browser in Rav? I've noticed it does that with my pics too, but if you open them, they look fine. Dear lord, it almost looks like I'm defending that dump!
Do you use a skein a square? I've got that one skein of 153 (the same color as the niece beanie I just made) that I'll probably never use...you want it?
hehehhe...I love Bezzie's comment about the dump!
Wow! The blanket is looking gorgeous!! And yay for winning the STR!! You've come a long way since that first skein of str I sent you! :)
Wow! Congrats! You're on a roll girl! With the squares and the winnings! They look beautiful. I am going to have to make one of those, I just love it! I am sure if you go through your stash you can rediscover something pretty!
CONGRATS on the STR winning! I can hardly wait to see what you get! The blanket is looking so awesome!
I am happy to report that when I went on Rav to look, as long as I specifically viewed that pic, I could see the whole thing. Yeah, kinda a pain that you have to click several times on a thumbnail before you get to see the complete pic!
